The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has posted a recall involving one lot of Oma’s Pride Woof Complete Canine Chicken Recipe after testing confirmed Salmonella contamination.

A total of 639 bags are included in the recall. According to the FDA announcement, no other Oma’s Pride products, package sizes, or lots are affected.
The food was distributed between February 12 and May 15, 2026, through retail and wholesale accounts and frozen direct-to-consumer shipments. Distribution included Arizona, California, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
Stop feeding the recalled product immediately, even if your dog appears healthy.

If your dog has eaten the recalled food and develops any of these symptoms, contact your veterinarian.
People can be exposed by handling contaminated pet food or touching bowls, utensils, storage containers, surfaces, or waste associated with an infected dog.
Human symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever. Anyone who develops symptoms after handling the recalled product should contact a healthcare provider.
This recall involves one specific lot of frozen raw chicken dog food manufactured by Oma’s Pride. It does not involve Life’s Abundance dog food, treats, supplements, or other Life’s Abundance products.
